Terms of Service

PDFLibero is an online tools platform that allows users to process, convert, compress, merge, split and manipulate PDF files directly in the browser. We offer free and paid plans (Pro and Business) with different features.

You agree to use PDFLibero solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with applicable regulations. The following are expressly prohibited: (a) uploading unlawful or defamatory content or content that infringes third-party rights; (b) attempting to bypass security measures or access unauthorized systems; (c) using the service to distribute malware or malicious code; (d) reverse engineering or copying the underlying software; (e) using bots or automated systems to access the service on a mass scale without prior written authorization.

An account is required to access certain features. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activities performed through your account. You must promptly notify us at pdflibero@hotmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access. PDFLibero will not be liable for losses arising from unauthorized use of your account.

Paid plans (Pro and Business) are billed monthly or yearly, depending on the chosen plan, on a recurring basis through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise periodic charges to your payment method. Prices may change with 30 days' notice. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account; premium access will remain active until the end of the period already paid. No refunds are given for partial periods, except where required by applicable law.

Current prices for all plans, monthly and yearly, are shown on the Pricing page (pdflibero.com/prezzi). Welcome offer: monthly Pro and Business plans get 50% off the first 2 months, applied automatically at checkout and only once per account; it does not apply to yearly plans, to existing subscribers or to accounts that have already used the offer. After the 2 months, the subscription renews at the full price shown on the Pricing page. Purchased credits do not expire. The 7-day refund guarantee is the one described in section 5. KALIBRA has a free level and its own subscription, whose prices are shown on the Pricing page; it is included in the Business plan and the welcome offer does not apply to KALIBRA. The 7-day refund guarantee also applies to the KALIBRA subscription. KALIBRA does not replace a doctor or a healthcare professional.

We offer a money-back guarantee within 7 days of the date of the first payment for a paid plan (Pro or Business), provided that the user has consumed fewer than 60 credits during that period. The request must be sent to pdflibero@hotmail.com within those 7 days; the refund is processed to the same payment method within 10 business days. The guarantee applies only once per user and does not cover: (a) renewals after the first billing period; (b) credit packs purchased separately; (c) accounts suspended for breaching these Terms. Once the threshold of 60 credits or the 7-day period has been exceeded, the subscription remains active until the end of the paid period and no refund is provided, except where required by applicable law.

Basic tools process files directly on your device and do not send them to our servers. Server-based or artificial intelligence tools (for example OCR, translation, chat with PDF, some conversions, Creative Studio and video) send the file to our servers and to the providers needed for that task. Retention depends on the tool: for artificial intelligence analysis and conversions, the file is used only for the task and is not stored in your account; AI-generated videos remain available for 7 days; videos exported from Video Studio remain available for 7 days (Pro) or 30 days (Business and VIP); a video you delete is permanently removed within 1 hour; KALIBRA progress photos and voice recordings stay in your account until you delete them. External providers also apply their own retention periods. We collect anonymised usage data to improve the service. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

All PDFLibero content, code, branding, logos and design are owned by John Suarez or his licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Reproduction, distribution or the creation of derivative works without prior written authorization is prohibited. PDFLibero is not affiliated with Adobe Inc. or other companies owning the PDF trademark.

PDFLibero is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the service, including loss of data or profits. Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid by the user in the last 3 months.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms periodically; continued use of the service after publication of changes will constitute acceptance of the new terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the domicile of the service owner. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions will remain fully in force.
